Information stored on your device
The site keeps only a small remembrance in your browser: your last-opened chapter, chosen font, text size, audio voice, audio speed, verse-number visibility, line-layout preference, and theme. These things remain on your device and are not sent to us. The site does not set tracking cookies. You may export or import a settings backup from the preferences menu, and you may remove this data by clearing site data in your browser.
Anonymous Suggestions
If you use the Suggestions form, the site receives only the subject and message you choose to send. It does not ask for your name or email address, and it does not keep drafts in your browser. Submitted suggestions are stored server-side in the site's database.
Information processed when you visit
The site is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. When you visit, Cloudflare may receive ordinary technical request information such as your IP address, browser type, requested path, and timestamp so the site may be delivered and protected. Cloudflare governs that data under its own privacy policy and retention practices.
The site also loads typefaces from Google Fonts. When those fonts are requested, your browser connects to Google's font servers and may share technical request information, including your IP address, browser type, and the font files requested. Google governs that data under its own privacy policy.
What we do not collect
The site has no user accounts, public comments, advertising system, behavioral analytics, or payment flow. We do not sell personal information, nor do we build profiles for advertising.
Clipboard and sharing
The site touches your clipboard only when you intentionally choose a copy action. Copied passage text is written to your device's clipboard and is not sent to us.
Daily Reading
The Daily Reading is chosen in your browser according to the present date and the Bible data included with the site. Your reading activity is not submitted to us.
Bible text
The site presents the King James Version with Apocrypha (KJVA), based on the 1769 King James Version text. Book descriptions, chapter titles, and thematic chapter introductions are original editorial material prepared for this site and are not part of the Bible text itself.
Third-party policies
These links are included because Cloudflare serves the site and Google serves the typefaces. The site does not use Google Analytics, advertising trackers, or social tracking pixels. Changes to this policy
This policy may be revised when the site's features or service providers change. When material changes are made, the effective date above will also be changed.
